Ca 3 % av Sveriges befolkning ber\u00e4knas ha celiaki och man har sett att celiaki \u00f6kar i Sverige och i andra l\u00e4nder i v\u00e4stv\u00e4rlden. Celiaki \u00e4r till viss del \u00e4rftligt, risken att drabbas \u00e4r cirka 15 procent om n\u00e5gon annan i familjen har celiaki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r man som glutenintolerant \u00e4ter mat med gluten startar en inflammation som skadar tamluddet i tunntarmen. Man f\u00e5r en inflammation p\u00e5 tunntarmens slemhinna som g\u00f6r slemhinnan svullen och skadad vilket g\u00f6r att den inte kan ta upp n\u00e4rings\u00e4mnen, vitaminer och mineraler. Celiaki \u00e4r kronisk, den \u00e4r allts\u00e5 livsl\u00e5ng och kan inte v\u00e4xa bort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Symtom:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Symtomen varierar stort mellan olika m\u00e4nniskor. Vissa f\u00e5r sv\u00e5ra symtom och m\u00e5r v\u00e4ldigt d\u00e5ligt medan andra inte ens vet att de har celiaki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det vanligaste symtomet hos barn \u00e4r att de v\u00e4xer s\u00e4mre \u00e4n andra barn. Andra vanliga symtom \u00e4r d\u00e5lig aptit, magont, j\u00e4rn- och vitaminbrist, illam\u00e5ende, kr\u00e4kningar, diarr\u00e9 eller f\u00f6rstoppning.<ins><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ouppt\u00e4ckt celiaki kan g\u00f6ra att ungdomar kommer sent in i puberteten och kan g\u00f6ra det sv\u00e5rare att bli gravid i vuxen \u00e5lder. Obehandlad celiaki kan bidra med bensk\u00f6rhet, att man l\u00e4ttare bryter ben i kroppen, f\u00e5r v\u00e4rk eller bl\u00e5sor i mun och p\u00e5 huden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Symtom hos vuxna kan vara magproblem som gaser, magsp\u00e4nningar, diarr\u00e9 eller f\u00f6rstoppning men ocks\u00e5 viktminskning, tr\u00f6tthet och depressioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det finns \u00e4ven en annan form av celiaki, dermatitis herpetiformis (DH), som ger symtom p\u00e5 huden med kliande bl\u00e5sor p\u00e5 kn\u00e4n, skinkor och armb\u00e5gar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Viktigt att t\u00e4nka p\u00e5 \u00e4r att symtomen kan visa sig m\u00e5nga olika s\u00e4tt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diagnos:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Diagnosen st\u00e4lls genom att ta ett blodprov som visar halten av transglutaminasantikroppar i blodet. En f\u00f6rh\u00f6jd halt tyder p\u00e5 att personen kan vara glutenintolerant. P\u00e5 Apoteket finns ett&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apoteket.se\/produkt\/celiac-test-1-st-233099\/\">sj\u00e4lvtest<\/a>&nbsp;f\u00f6r att se om man har antikroppar i blodet (om testet visar antikroppar kontakta d\u00e5 l\u00e4kare).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6r att bli helt s\u00e4ker g\u00f6r man ofta en tunntarmsbiopsi (gastroskopi eller kapselbiopsi). Om tarmproverna, som studeras i mikroskop, visar att tarmluddet \u00e4r skadat bekr\u00e4ftar det att personen har celiaki. Det \u00e4r viktigt att man inte utesluter gluten ur kosten innan blodprov eller biopsi utf\u00f6rts, eftersom resultatet d\u00e5 kan bli missvisande.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Behandling:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Behandlingen \u00e4r en glutenfri kost, maten f\u00e5r allts\u00e5 inte inneh\u00e5lla vete, r\u00e5g, eller korn. Symptomen f\u00f6rsvinner d\u00e5 och tarmslemhinnan l\u00e4ks. Observera att det kan ta tid f\u00f6r tarmslemhinnan att l\u00e4ka, det kan ta 6 m\u00e5nader upp till 1 \u00e5r, ibland tar det l\u00e4ngre tid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det \u00e4r viktigt att man \u00e4ter glutenfri kost livet ut om man f\u00e5tt diagnosen celiaki. Tunntarmens slemhinna kan skadas \u00e4ven om man inte f\u00e5r n\u00e5gra symtom n\u00e4r man \u00e4ter gluten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En inflammerad tarm kan ha sv\u00e5rt att bryta ner mj\u00f6lksocker,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/allergisidan.com\/laktos.htm\">laktos<\/a>, och laktos kan beh\u00f6va uteslutas ur kosten en tid. Ofta g\u00e5r laktos\u00f6verk\u00e4nsligheten \u00f6ver n\u00e4r tarmslemhinnan l\u00e4kt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#29576a;color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background\">Om du misst\u00e4nker att du eller en familjemedlem kan ha celiaki ta kontakt med en l\u00e4kare. Tyv\u00e4rr saknar m\u00e5nga l\u00e4kare kunskap om celiaki och m\u00e5nga f\u00e5r v\u00e4nta upp till 10 \u00e5r att f\u00e5 sin diagnos konstaterad. L\u00e4s d\u00e4rf\u00f6r p\u00e5 om symtomen och diagnos innan l\u00e4karbes\u00f6ket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Veteallergi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Veteallergi och celiaki f\u00f6rv\u00e4xlas ofta men veteallergi \u00e4r n\u00e5got helt annat \u00e4n celiaki\/glutenintrolerans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vid allergi mot vete \u00e4r det, som vid andra f\u00f6do\u00e4mnesallergier, IgE-antikroppar som orsakar symtomen. Om man \u00e4r allergisk mot vete kan det ge symtom som eksem, magont, kr\u00e4kningar, astma eller allergisk snuva.
